Motivational Minute: Set Reasonable Time Frames
Did you buy a 2020 calendar?
I did. The worst spent money this year. The next worst thing I did – set stupid time frames for me to finish my goals. And I put them in that silly calendar!
Life throws you curveballs.
So, for your 60 second motivational minute for the week…
Life always seems to get in the way. If you set a rigid limit to finish a goal too slow or too quickly, it can throw you off focus. Give yourself an ample amount of time to complete each goal, I like to call that time a buffer zone of a few days or weeks, to make sure that you get the results that you’re aiming for. Be reasonable, understand that life happens, and set flexible time frames on your goals and your achievements.
Plus – you might want to update your 2020 goals in that calendar.
